We are seeking an experienced
Medical Coder (Sr. Analyst)
with strong expertise in ED facility & profee coding, E&M; outpatient multispecialty denials, and surgery coding. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of medical coding guidelines, solid analytical skills, and the ability to ensure accurate, compliant coding across multiple specialties.
Key Responsibilities
Perform accurate and compliant coding for
ED facility, ED profee, surgery, and multispecialty E&M; outpatient services
.
Review and resolve
multispecialty denials
, ensuring proper coding corrections and documentation support.
Validate clinical documentation to ensure correct code assignment according to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with internal teams to clarify documentation, coding updates, and process improvement opportunities.
Maintain strong quality and productivity standards while ensuring adherence to coding rules and guidelines.
Stay updated with changes in coding regulations, payer policies, and industry best practices.
Requirements
Minimum 3+ years
of experience in medical coding (mandatory).
Certified coders only
– CPC or equivalent recognized certification.
Hands-on experience in:
Surgery coding
E&M; outpatient coding
ED profee & facility coding
IVR coding
Strong understanding of denial management and specialty-specific coding scenarios.
Ability to analyze, verify, and correct codes with high accuracy.
Good communication and documentation skills.
