We are seeking a highly skilled
Senior Test Automation Engineer
with strong expertise in Python, ETL testing, cloud technologies, and automation frameworks. The ideal candidate should excel in hands-on testing, data validation, performance testing, and working within Agile teams while demonstrating leadership, analytical thinking, and a proactive mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using
Python
and the
Behave
framework.
Perform
API testing
,
data reconciliation
, and transformation validations for
ETL/data ingestion processes
within
GCP
environments.
Utilize
GCP SDKs and APIs
for testing workflows.
Conduct
performance testing
using JMeter or similar tools.
Work with
schema-based ingestion
and definition tools like Swagger.
Execute testing across cloud-based CI/CD pipelines, preferably
Azure DevOps
.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.
Manage test cases and execution using tools such as
Jira
and
Zephyr
.
Validate data across SQL/PostgreSQL/Oracle databases and GCP services (BigQuery, Bigtable, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Composer).
Provide mentorship to team members and contribute to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
Support innovation, take initiative,



and ensure accountability in delivering high-quality testing outcomes.
Mandatory Requirements
Hands-on experience with:
Python fundamentals
, data structures, file handling, logging, debugging, Pandas, API requests
Test Automation
using Python + Behave
API testing
ETL/data ingestion testing
in GCP
GCP services
: BigQuery, Dataflow, Composer, Cloud Storage
Performance testing
(JMeter or similar)
Cloud-based Git repositories
Cloud-based CI/CD pipelines
, preferably Azure DevOps
Agile development environments
Experience with test management tools such as
Jira & Zephyr
.
Strong understanding of databases: SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle.
Strong collaboration, communication, customer-centricity, analytical thinking, adaptability, and accountability.
ISTQB Foundation Certification
.
Leadership qualities, resilience, and a commitment to mentoring and knowledge sharing.
Preferred Skills
Experience with mock/stub tools like
WireMock
.
Exposure to
non-functional security testing
using tools like SonarQube, JFrog, etc.
Experience with
Terraform
deployments.
Test automation experience with
Selenium + Java
.
Experience with unit testing.
Familiarity with cloud-based test environments.
Cloud and automation certifications.
