As a Frontend Team Lead, you will spearhead the design, development, and delivery of high-quality, scalable web applications using React and Next.js. You will lead a team of frontend engineers, set technical direction, establish best practices, and collaborate closely with Product, Design, Backend, and QA teams to build responsive, performant, and user-centric interfaces that align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead architecture, development, and optimization of complex web applications using React and Next.js.
Mentor and guide frontend engineers, fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Translate product requirements and UX designs into maintainable, accessible, and responsive frontend solutions.
Define and own the technical roadmap for frontend development, including component libraries, state management strategies, and performance improvements.
Drive adoption of modern tools, frameworks, and methodologies to enhance developer productivity and code quality.
Oversee code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure adherence to security, accessibility, and performance best practices.
Collaborate with designers to deliver pixel-perfect UI implementations.
Partner with backend teams to define APIs,



integrate RESTful and GraphQL services, and ensure smooth data flow.
Manage deployment pipelines and optimize build performance using modern bundlers and tools.
Monitor and improve frontend metrics such as Core Web Vitals, load times, and runtime performance.
Support hiring, onboarding, and scaling of the frontend team.
What Makes You a Great Fit
6+ years of experience in building modern web applications, with at least 2 years in a technical leadership role.
Advanced proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Next.js, with strong knowledge of SSR, SSG, and ISR.
Solid experience with CSS-in-JS libraries, modern CSS architecture, and state management solutions like Redux or Zustand.
Hands-on expertise in frontend performance optimization, accessibility (WCAG), and SEO best practices.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and cloud hosting platforms.
Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
Proven track record of delivering high-quality products in Agile/Scrum environments.
Experience with high-traffic applications, micro-frontend architectures, and modular monorepos is a plus.
Passionate about mentoring, collaboration, and driving frontend excellence across teams.
