Experienced in Digital Video domain projects (IPTV, OTT) with exposure to STBs, mobiles, and Smart TVs. Skilled in testing Cable & Satellite Set Top Boxes. Proficient in API testing using tools like POSTMAN. Knowledgeable about Headend systems and video management platforms such as Kaltura. Understanding of networking concepts, router/modem setup, multicasting, and bandwidth throttling. Familiar with media ingest processes, nPVR, Video on Demand, and EPG. Hands-on experience with IPTV configuration, installation, and troubleshooting. Knowledge of ABR streaming protocols (MPEG DASH, HLS, HDS), DRM, and CDN technologies. Ability to use tools like Wireshark, ADB, Fiddler, and Charles Proxy for network/application log analysis. Good to have: Android Debug Bridge, xCode for iOS, and experience in system integration testing with tools like Splunk.
