Role Summary:

As an F&B; Service Trainer, you will be responsible for molding rural youth into industry-ready hospitality professionals. You will deliver high-quality, practical-oriented training in alignment with National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF) levels and THSC (Tourism and Hospitality Skill Council) standards, ensuring trainees meet the requirements of premium hotels and restaurants.

Key Responsibilities

- Curriculum Delivery: Execute the specific Guest Service Associate curriculum effectively, balancing theory with rigorous practical demonstrations.
- Practical Training: Conduct hands-on sessions covering table service techniques, beverage preparation, menu knowledge, order taking, and point-of-sale (POS) operations.
- Grooming & Soft Skills: Act as a mentor to instill industry-specific grooming standards, hygiene practices, and etiquette necessary for guest-facing roles.
- Assessment Preparation: Prepare students for internal and external assessments, including mock viva-voce and practical skill evaluations.
- Placement Readiness: Conduct role-play exercises, mock interviews, and grooming sessions to ensure students are prepared for industry placements.
- Documentation:



Maintain daily training logs, student attendance, assessment records, and batch progress reports as per DDU-GKY MIS and compliance standards.

Qualifications & Experience

Education: Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management or Hospitality from a recognized institute.

- Experience: Minimum 2–4 years of operational experience in a reputable hotel (F&B; Service department) At least 1–2 years of experience in vocational training/skill development will be preferred.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of food safety standards (HACCP/FSSAI) and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for fine dining and banquet service.
- Communication: Proficiency in English, Bengali, and Hindi.
