About Position:

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to lead the design and architecture of a next-generation LC-MS multiplexing platform for analytical instrumentation. The role involves defining real-time, multi-instrument orchestration systems that integrate instrument control software, device drivers, scheduling engines, and regulated data management solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in C++, .NET, device communication protocols, real-time systems, and analytical instrument platforms, with a proven track record of building scalable, reliable, and compliance-ready software solutions in regulated environments.

What You'll Do:

- As a Solution Architect, you will lead the design and development of advanced instrument orchestration platforms that enable real-time coordination between multiple analytical instruments while ensuring performance, reliability, and regulatory compliance. Based on and related architecture documents. Define end-to-end architecture for multi-instrument orchestration and LC-MS multiplexing platforms.
- Design scalable, modular, deterministic, and high-performance software systems for instrument control.
- Architect and guide development using C++, .NET/C#,



and modern software engineering practices.
- Develop hardware abstraction layers (HAL) to support HPLC systems, mass spectrometers, valves, and peripheral devices.
- Lead device driver and communication framework development across USB, Ethernet, Serial (RS232/RS485), and CAN interfaces.
- Design real-time scheduling engines, workflow orchestration, and event-driven architectures for timing-critical operations.
- Establish low-latency communication mechanisms and synchronization across multiple instruments and devices.
- Ensure data integrity, auditability, electronic records management, and compliance with GxP and 21 CFR Part 11 standards.
- Architect fault-tolerant systems with robust error handling, recovery workflows, and device failure management.
- Collaborate closely with product management, firmware, hardware, and software engineering teams to deliver innovative solutions.
- Mentor senior engineers, conduct architecture reviews, and drive technical standards, best practices, and design governance.
- Drive technical decision-making throughout the product lifecycle, from concept through deployment and validation

Expertise You'll Bring:

- We are seeking a highly experienced Solution Architect with deep expertise in instrument control software, real-time orchestration systems, device communication, and regulated software environments.
- The ideal candidate will bring strong technical leadership, system architecture capabilities, and hands-on experience building end-to-end hardware-software integrated platforms.
- 12-18+ years of experience in software architecture, instrument software development, or technical leadership roles.
- Strong expertise in modern C++ (C++11/14/17) for instrument control, device communication, and real-time systems development.
- Hands-on experience with C#/.NET, WPF, or modern UI frameworks for orchestration, workflow management, and enterprise applications.
- Proven experience designing scalable, modular, distributed, and real-time software architecture.
- Strong understanding of multi-threading, concurrent programming, synchronization, and performance optimization.
- Experience developing instrument control software, hardware abstraction layers (HAL), and device communication frameworks.
- Expertise in communication protocols including TCP/IP, USB, Ethernet, RS232/RS485, CAN, and related device interfaces.




- Solid knowledge of event-driven architecture, state machines, workflow orchestration, and scheduling algorithms.
- Experience designing fault-tolerant, reliable systems with recovery mechanisms and error-handling strategies.
- Knowledge of GxP-regulated environments, 21 CFR Part 11 compliance, audit trails, electronic records, and software validation practices.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills across hardware and software layers
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and mentoring abilities, with experience leading senior engineering teams.
- Preferred experience in analytical instrumentation, laboratory automation, chromatography, LC-MS, HPLC, GC, medical devices, or industrial automation domains.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics & Telecommunication, Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Advanced degrees (M.Tech/MS) in Software Systems, Embedded Systems, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Computer Engineering are preferred.
- Relevant certifications in Software Architecture, System Design, Embedded Systems, or Cloud Technologies will be an added advantage.
