Location: Olpad Surat
Qualification: MBBS -CIH/AFIH

Key Responsibilities
1. Emergency Care & Hazard Management (High Priority)

- Provide immediate, round-the-clock emergency medical response for plant accidents, chemical burns, or inhalation injuries.
- Maintain absolute readiness for specific hazardous exposures, including managing Cyanide Antidote Kits and administering treatment protocols for Hydrogen Cyanide (HCN) or gaseous toxicity.
- Manage and upgrade the Occupational Health Centre (OHC) with essential life-support equipment, medicines, and antidotes.

2. Occupational Health & Surveillance

- Conduct and oversee pre-employment, periodic, and exit medical examinations for all plant employees and contractual workers.
- Monitor biological parameters of workers regularly exposed to hazardous manufacturing environments.
- Maintain confidential, accurate, and up-to-date digital health records of all employees.

3. Statutory Compliance & Audits





- Ensure full compliance with the health provisions of the Factories Act, 1948 and Gujarat Factory Rules.
- Prepare and maintain necessary documentation (Form 32, health registers) for inspections by the Factory Inspector or Certifying Surgeon.
- Coordinate with the setting, health, and safety (EHS) team to review Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and implement workplace health safety controls.

4. Training & Health Awareness

- Conduct regular training and mock drills for factory workers and first-aiders on chemical exposure management, CPR, and first aid.
- Promote general health, hygiene, and wellness programs across the facility (e.g., ergonomics, lifestyle disease management).
