We are hiring skilled EV Automotive Technicians to handle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance of next-generation electric vehicles. This role demands technical precision, discipline, and a strong learning mindset to work with evolving EV systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics, repair, and maintenance of EVs and related systems
- Handle high-voltage components, battery systems, and electrical circuits with safety compliance
- Execute jobs as per repair orders, SOPs, and OEM guidelines
- Use diagnostic tools and software for fault identification and resolution
- Ensure quality workmanship and first-time-right repairs
- Support PDI and final inspection processes when required
- Maintain job documentation and system updates (DMS/Genie)
- Coordinate with service advisors for timely job completion
- Keep the workspace clean, secure, and compliant
Key Skills Required
- Strong automobile fundamentals (mechanical + electrical)
- Basic understanding of EV architecture (battery, BMS, controllers)
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and workshop systems
- High attention to quality and safety protocols
- Disciplined, reliable, and process-driven
- Willingness to learn and upgrade EV skills continuously
KPI Ownership
- First-time-right repair rate
- Productivity & efficiency (hours per job)
- Reduction in repeat repairs / comebacks
- Quality compliance scores
- Turnaround time (TAT)
Eligibility Criteria
- Education: ITI / Diploma in Automobile / Mechanical / Electrical
- Experience:
- Technician: 2–5 years in automobile service
- Freshers with strong basics can be considered as trainees
- EV experience preferred but not mandatory
