Director – Renewable Energy
to join the General Consulting team, contributing to transformative engagements across the clean energy sector. The role involves working closely with business leaders and stakeholders to solve complex challenges, harness opportunities, and deliver sustainable solutions in a agile and evolving energy landscape. The successful candidate will provide strategic guidance across implementation, investments, and operational excellence in renewable energy projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and execute consulting engagements in the renewable energy sector, ranging from strategy formulation to operational implementation.
Contribute to the growth of the practice by identifying business opportunities, building relationships, and driving impactful outcomes.
Guide teams on project execution involving clean technologies like Solar, Wind, Hydro, Green Hydrogen, Carbon Capture, and other decarbonization solutions.
Provide strategic and operational insights into improving efficiency and reliability of renewable assets using digital interventions.
Leverage industry trends, data, and tools to deliver cutting-edge solutions for clients in the cleantech and renewable space.
Offer critical thinking and problem-solving leadership in unstructured situations.
Provide mentoring and stretch opportunities to team members,



enabling high-quality delivery and professional development.
Maintain quality standards by reviewing work for accuracy, relevance, and strategic alignment.
Cultivate strong relationships across client organizations, modifying approaches to suit various stakeholder expectations.
Uphold high ethical standards and conduct in line with professional integrity and industry practices.
Required Experience & Skill Set:
Demonstrated experience in
implementation and investment
across renewable energy technologies such as
Solar, Wind, Hydro, Green Hydrogen, Carbon Capture
, and related decarbonization initiatives.
Strong background in
operations and maintenance optimization
, preferably through
digital transformation or interventions
in solar and wind energy projects.
Prior involvement in
renewable energy project evaluation, development, or operations
with exposure to both technical and commercial aspects.
Proven experience working with
renewable energy developers, investors, OEMs, or cleantech-focused entities
.
Extensive experience handling
private sector clients
in the renewable energy domain, with a deep understanding of market dynamics, regulations, and investment landscapes.
