We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented
Technical Publication Engineer
with a minimum of 3 years of experience in spare parts documentation, technical writing, and technical illustration within the automobile industry. The ideal candidate should be creative, imaginative, and possess strong interpersonal skills, along with a comprehensive understanding of industry standards and tools related to technical publications.
Key Responsibilities:
Create, update, and manage
Spare Parts Catalogues
in accordance with established workflows and industry standards.
Develop and maintain
technical manuals
, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and compliance with documentation norms.
Generate
technical illustrations
using relevant software tools, adhering to industry-specific guidelines and visual communication best practices.
Understand and manage
document-level serial numbering
and revision tracking for accurate version control.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, engineering, and product management to gather technical information.




Ensure consistency and quality across all technical content, including layout, terminology, and visual assets.
Utilize
CAD and graphic design tools
such as SolidWorks Composer, CorelDRAW, Creo, and AutoCAD for illustration and document creation.
Work with systems such as
SAP and PLM
for document and data management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum of
3 years' experience
in
technical publications
, specifically in the automotive sector.
Hands-on experience in
technical writing, spare parts cataloguing
, and
illustration
.
Strong knowledge of
technical publication standards
and best practices.
Familiarity with
Spare Parts Catalogue
creation processes.
Proficient with tools such as
SolidWorks Composer
,
CorelDRAW
,
Creo
,
AutoCAD
, and
SAP/PLM
systems.
Good understanding of
document management
, including
serial numbering and revision history
.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
