Description:
At CloudSEK we are looking for SDET II who are keen on building and designing automation frameworks, which are scalable.
Responsibilities:
● Software engineering fundamentals (SDLC & STLC).
● Works on assignments with complex scope, covering a range of technologies and level of complexity where analysis of situations or data requires a review of multiple factors to ensure quality of the overall product or service.
● Works independently, with general instructions on assignments and may lead Quality engineering activities within a project or team.
● Exercises judgment in application of methods and procedures to ensure quality products and services.
● Excellent black box and white box design and testing skills.
● Designs and codes software using programming languages such as Python, Java.
● Proficiency with automation methodologies, familiar with at more than one area of Selenium, Appium, API automation.
● Contributes in script automation, framework design and development.
● Reads code and logs to assist developers in the analysis and isolation of software defects.
● Selection and application of diverse QA processes and tools.
● Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities at project level.
● Test plan and case authoring.




● Defines and uses metrics to manage and assess deliverables.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
● 3+ years of experience working in as a SDET.
● Bachelor's in engineering preferred, or equivalent work experience.
● Strong development experience with Java or Python.
● Solid automation experience - Analyze, Design and implement test automation framework and contribute to improving automation coverage.
● Analyze functional requirements for the product, understand customer use case scenarios and enhance as needed.
● Valuable working experience in test strategies, planning, estimation and test automations.
● Have experience in any two of mobile app automation, web automation, API automation.
● Hands on exposure to database CRUD operations testing, Unix commands, scripting.
● Hands on experience with test management tools and defect tracking tools.
● Experience with CI/CD pipeline creation.
● Experience in the software design/architecture process.
● Experience in automation integration with cloud-based device environment.
● Experience with unit/integration testing, and related modern best practices/technologies.
● Experience working in an fast paced agile/scrum development process.
● Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
