The ideal candidate will be customer focused, highly collaborative, and willing to adapt in a quick paced environment. Daily duties have the opportunity to be very diverse and will benefit greatly from strong problem solving skills. We appreciate and value perfectionists; however, the role can also be satisfied with someone that is pragmatic, use case/test driven, and has strong capabilities to debug issues for our results focused team and customers.
We are currently looking for an individual well versed with Cloud Native development practices and experience in GCP. Full ownership of your design and testing will be encouraged including deployment, automation, and validation. Kubernetes knowledge is a must.

Qualifications
8 years of practical IaaS deployment experience in IaaS
3 years of practical IaaS deployment experience in GCP
5 years of practical Kubernetes management experience
Experience working with Java, Python, and React in a professional environment
Outstanding collaboration and communication skills
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Ability to learn quickly, take direction, work independently, and as part of a team
Ability to develop automation for every aspect of the deployment
Ability to debug and isolate the root cause of complex issues
Experience with Helm or other Kubernetes deployment tools
Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related degree
Beneficial experience
Professional experience using cybersecurity and open source technology
Experience with Agile and Scrum development methodologies
IaaS procedures and practicesExperience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or other CI/CD tools is a plus
Experience in cost estimation of Cloud InfrastructureAWS
Responsibilities
Setup and support the deployment and infrastructure for multiple applications
Automate the deployment of new releases
Automate the testing of the infrastructure and/or deployed applications




Communicate effectively and professionally in all forms of communication with internal and external customers
Development of technical specifications and assisting in plans as they pertain to the deployment of our applications
Troubleshoot deployment problems quickly and efficiently to ensure a productive workplace
Follow secure infrastructure practicesActively seek ways to improve business software deployment processes and interactions
Aid and support the coaching and training of other team members to ensure all employees are confident in the use of our deployment technologies
