The selected internwill assist with proofreading documents for language, formatting, andconsistency, as well as reviewing third-party material for copyrightcompliance. This role is ideal for individuals with strong editorial skills andan interest in climate action, public policy, and knowledge dissemination.In addition to the duties and responsibilities below, theindividual should be prepared, as and when necessary,



to take on additionalresponsibilities.Job duties andaccountabilitiesPrimaryresponsibilities● Proofreading HAP documents for grammar, spelling,punctuation, and formatting errors.● Ensuring stylistic consistency across various sectionsof the document.● Reviewing citations, references, and image sources forcompleteness and accuracy.● Assisting in verifying whether third-party materials(maps, figures, photos) comply with copyright requirements and suggestingalternative visuals when needed.● Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders toclarify ambiguities in document content or attribution.● Supporting documentation of copyright permissionsreceived and creating a compliance log.● Contributing to the preparation of clean, finalversions of the HAPs for publication or submission to government bodies.SelectionCriteriaQualification● Current student orrecent graduate in English, Communications, Law, Public Policy, or relatedfields.Work experience● 0-1 years.Key skills● Solid command ofwritten English and a keen eye for detail.● Familiarity withcitation styles (APA, Chicago, etc.) and document formatting standards.● Experience ineditorial work, legal research, or copyright review (preferred but notmandatory).● Proficiency withMicrosoft Word and Adobe Acrobat.● Interest in climateresilience, governance, or urban policy is an asset.
