Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sourcing & Demand Management
Lead complex, end-to-end sourcing initiatives (RFx)
Define and drive sourcing strategies across diverse categories
Supplier & Vendor Management
Design and implement supplier governance frameworks
Manage performance and compliance of critical vendors
Contract Management
Lead contract drafting, negotiation, and due diligence
Ensure proactive renewal and risk-aligned strategies
Value Delivery & Cost Optimization
Achieve measurable cost savings and service improvements
Deliver departmental KPIs on benefits realization
Risk, Compliance & Regulatory Awareness
Ensure compliance with internal policies and APRA standards (CPS230, CPS234)
Manage third-party risk through consistent governance
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
Build strong relationships with legal, risk, tech, and business teams
Act as a commercial advisor to business stakeholders Continuous Improvement




Drive simplification and optimization in sourcing processes
Share knowledge and mentor junior sourcing professionals

Requirements
Experience
7–10 years in Strategic Sourcing / Procurement roles
Strong exposure to
supplier management
,
contracting
, and
negotiation
Preferred: Experience in
financial services
or
regulated environments
(e.g., Australian banking)
Capabilities
Deep knowledge of sourcing strategies across varied categories
Strong communication, influencing, and negotiation skills
Awareness of technology procurement and SaaS sourcing
Understanding of
APRA CPS230 / CPS234
is a plus
Ability to lead initiatives and work autonomously in a global setting
Qualifications
Bachelor's or higher degree in
Business, Finance, or a related discipline
(preferred)
