Key Responsibilities:
Administer, maintain, and optimize large-scale
SQL Server environments **********)
Design and manage
Always On Availability Groups
, replication, log shipping, and failover clusters
Perform
query optimization, index tuning, and execution plan analysis
Implement
backup/restore strategies
, disaster recovery planning, and HA configurations
Automate routine maintenance using
PowerShell, T-SQL, or Azure Automation
Migrate and manage databases on
Azure SQL Database
,
Azure SQL Managed Instance
, and
SQL on Azure VMs
Monitor performance using
SQL Server DMVs
,
Azure Monitor
, and
Log Analytics
Ensure security, compliance, and audit controls (RBAC, TDE, auditing)
Collaborate with application teams to review data models, stored procedures, and performance baselines
Support DevOps with
CI/CD pipelines
for database deployments
Skills & Experience Required:

Technical Expertise:
8+ years of hands-on experience with
SQL Server administration
Deep understanding of




T-SQL
, query tuning, and execution plans
Proven experience in managing
HA/DR
environments (Always On, replication)
Experience with
Azure Data Services

Azure SQL DB / MI
Azure Data Factory (basic integration)
Azure Monitor / Log Analytics
Familiarity with
Infrastructure as Code
(ARM, Bicep, Terraform is a plus)
Experience with
PowerShell scripting
for automation
Must be willing to work in any shifts
