Position: Transport Manager

The Transport Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the Transport service provided to the Shell through appointed vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate with vendors to provide an effective and cost effective Transport network.
- Accountable for the achievement of the Transport service and key performance indicators and customer satisfaction.
- Manage the transportation as a part of customer fulfilment.
- Deliver on cost, compliance and transportation capacity for distribution.
- Be strategic and oversee the site level operations.
- Maintain and update Vendor Performance Scorecard quarterly. Conduct monthly meetings with the vendor management team and share the MOM with Senior Management team.
- Maintain a Vendor contract tracker summary and coordinate with Shell RE Team for renewals and revised addendums.
- Ensure adherence to all security guidelines laid down by the client in terms of transportation for female staff. Escalate any deviations to the proper channel.
- Arrange monthly meetings with SPOC's and address any queries raised.
- Prepare the Transport plan during BCM situations and actively participate in meetings held by the client for planning BCM situations.
- Work closely with the billing team regarding the payment of invoices and monthly accruals.
- Ensure monthly/weekly MI on operational summary and costs are shared with Senior Management team as per the time frame.




- Contribute to the Monthly Management Report to the client.
- Ensure compliance with regulations/requirements of JLL management in line with regulation at client sites.
- Interact with a wide range of client staff and demands.
- Provide guidance to the site team and develop strong client relationships.
- Create initiatives, new projects, and minimize cost of operations.
- Control costs and enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the transport function as per industry benchmarks.
- Support Shell in the implementation of short and long-term projects.
- Develop and implement the annual management plan; accomplish key performance indicators as identified by the client.
- Oversee compilation and deliver appropriate monthly/quarterly/annual reporting.
- Coordinate discussions with each direct report regarding goal setting, performance reviews, and career development planning.
- Ensure compliance with JLL minimum audit standards.

Required Skills and Experience:

- Logistics and Planning: Experience in route planning, fleet management, and optimizing transportation operations.
- Leadership: Ability to manage and motivate a team, handle conflicts, and ensure high performance.
- Problem-Solving: Skills to address unexpected issues like traffic delays, road blockages, and other logistical challenges.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of transportation laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with transportation management systems (MoveinSync) and other relevant software.
