Job Description:

We are seeking a talented Design Engineer - Electrical with expertise in Building Information Modeling (BIM) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in electrical engineering principles, coupled with proficiency in utilizing BIM software tools such as Revit MEP and AutoCAD Electrical. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in crafting and coordinating electrical designs for diverse building projects utilizing BIM methodologies. You will collaborate closely with architects, mechanical engineers, and various stakeholders to seamlessly integrate electrical systems within the overall building design framework.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Develop comprehensive electrical designs for building projects leveraging BIM software tools like Revit MEP and AutoCAD Electrical.
- Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, and stakeholders to harmonize electrical systems within the broader building design.
- Coordinate with different disciplines to identify and resolve clashes and conflicts within the BIM model.
- Conduct electrical load calculations, voltage drop assessments, and other pertinent analyses to ensure design compliance with regulatory standards and project specifications.
- Possess awareness of IEC & BS standards and demonstrate proficient knowledge in ELV systems such as CCTV, Fire Alarm (FA), Emergency Lighting, etc.
- Offer technical solutions to intricate problems necessitating ingenuity and creativity.




- Conduct project reviews and checks in adherence to quality assurance procedures.
- Ensure optimal utilization of resources across the team and projects, aligning with project timelines and objectives.
- Develop and maintain accurate documentation including drawings, specifications, and schedules.
- Participate actively in project meetings, fostering effective communication with team members and clients.
- Stay abreast of industry standards, best practices, and emerging technologies pertinent to electrical design and BIM.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff members as required.

Skills Preferred:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical design for building projects, preferably within a BIM environment.
- Proficiency in BIM software tools such as Revit MEP, AutoCAD Electrical, and optionally Navisworks.
- Sound understanding of electrical engineering principles and familiarity with building codes and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience with MEP coordination and clash detection is advantageous.
