Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Guest Service Associate (GSA) for our Food & Beverage department in Bengaluru, India. As a GSA - F&B;, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional dining experiences for our guests by providing professional and efficient service.
Greet and welcome guests according to company standards, ensuring a positive first impression
Take and process guest orders accurately, providing menu recommendations when appropriate
Serve food and beverages in a timely and professional manner
Maintain cleanliness and proper setup of dining areas, including tables, chairs, and service stations
Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and courteously




Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and address any food-related issues
Process payments and handle cash and credit transactions accurately
Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards
Assist in setting up and breaking down for special events or functions
Maintain knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and any changes in offerings
Contribute to a positive team environment by supporting colleagues and maintaining open communication
Qualifications
Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management or equivalent qualification
Previous experience in food and beverage service preferred
Excellent customer service skills with a qualified and friendly demeanor
Strong knowledge of food and beverage products, including menu items and preparation methods
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
Basic math skills for handling financial transactions
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
Problem-solving skills to address guest concerns effectively
Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems is a plus
