Job Description
Responsible for Safety concept development at system and component level for EV applications.
Define platform Safety strategy and derive safety requirement
Derive process required for safety implementation based on ISO*****
Develop and execute component and system level validation
Safety Analysis : FMEA, FTA, DFA , FMEDA etc.
Implementation in functional safety-standards - ISO*****
System level architect by translating the customer specific requirements into system level requirements & specifications.
Qualifications
Btech /MTech with minimum 8 years of experience in development / engineering applications.
Knowledge of Functional Safety Standard (eg. ISO *****, IEC *****) and Product Liability.
Certifications related to Functional Safety (ISO*****) preferred (like TUV, etc.)
Very good knowledge and/or experience on various powertrain topologies, architecture about electric vehicle powertrain (EV)
Good knowledge and/or experience in working with various types of sensors, actuators, electric motors, battery types, electronic control unit's architecture and control algorithms.
Valuable knowledge on system engineering procedures, V model practices & instructions,
Understanding about the component drawing and its specifications released for the 3D model is an added advantage.
Knowledge of li ion batteries is an added advantage.
