Overview:
Key Responsibilities
The key responsibilities are:
Analysis for upcoming work and interface with BAs for Compliance Team
Analyse, Develop, Test and support the User Acceptance phase.
Develop technical skills and some business knowledge in Global Shareholding / Short Sell Regulations
Person Specification
The following skills and experience are required for this role:
• Good Axiom toolset experience (beyond mapping inputs directly to reports) • Good experience in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL • Candidate should be comfortable in a Unix terminal environment. • Previous experience of working in the Financial Services industry preferable • Strong desire to learn and apply learnt knowledge • Valuable interpersonal skills, written & verbal communication skills
Desirable skills
• Linux or Unix background with experience in Shell Scripting and use of command line tools • Experience of handling large, complex data sets, e.g input / enhancement layer within Axiom • Verifying and testing objects after migration/installation • JIRA/Agile development methods • Test case plan, execution and documentation • Comfortable liaising with BAs on requirements/testing
