Role & responsibilities:
Brave Bison are looking for a Junior Assistant Editor to join the team to work on clipping and building out the archive for one of our key motorsport's clients.
The day-to-day role will include identifying key moments within races and clipping these. Tagging and indexing these clips in an archive, to ensure these are easily accessible to our wider editing team. Some demonstratable relevant experience is required.
Being responsible for identifying the best motorsports moments from legacy and present races.
Clipping these up using editing software (Premiere Pro)
Tagging this content to include key metadata, such as the cars involved, the circuit, race, year etc.
Communicating what has been archived with the wider editorial team.
Qualification & skills requirements
Basic knowledge of motorsport and understanding what makes an engaging piece of motorsport content.
Basic editing skills/ being able to cut down and export video files in a variety of formats.
Positive communication skills with the wider sport team.
Good written English in order to tag effectively
Adequate research skills in order to identify which drivers & cars are included in each clip.
