Senior Django Developer

Location: Hinjawadi, Pune (On-site)

Experience: 5–7 Years

9:30 AM to 7 PM 5 days a week

Team Management: 8 Members

We are looking for a hands-on technology leader who can combine full-stack Django development and team leadership.

- Strong expertise in Python, Django, Django REST Framework, REST APIs

- Experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL, frontend integration (React/Next.js preferred)

- Knowledge of Docker, CI/CD, AWS/Azure/GCP, Linux deployments

- Manage sprint planning, project delivery, UAT, and production releases

- Lead a team of developers, QA, and technical contributors

- Handle client discussions, requirement gathering, and product demos

- Product-based company or startup experience preferred

- Cybersecurity awareness and secure coding knowledge are a plus

Nice-to-have

- Experience with GraphQL.

- Background in microservices architecture.

- Knowledge of message brokers (RabbitMQ, Kafka).

- Experience with infra as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).

- Prior work on security audits, vulnerability assessments, or compliance standards.

Required skills

- Strong proficiency in Python and Django, including Django ORM and project structuring.

- Experience building REST APIs with Django REST Framework.

- Solid SQL skills with PostgreSQL and/or MySQL,



including query optimisation and schema design.

- Hands-on experience integrating front-end frameworks (React or Next.js preferred).

- CI/CD pipeline knowledge (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar).

- Cloud deployment experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP) , provisioning, app deployment, and basic infra automation.

- Strong debugging, performance tuning, and monitoring skills (APM, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar).

- Familiarity with secure coding practices and basic cybersecurity principles (OWASP, input validation, auth/authorisation).

- Experience leading engineering teams: sprint planning, task estimation, code reviews, mentoring.

- Experience managing end-to-end delivery: requirement gathering, UAT coordination, production releases, and client demos.

- Product or startup background preferred (rapid-paced, ownership mindset).

- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management (client interactions, requirement clarification).

- Familiarity with version control (Git) and branching strategies (GitFlow, trunk-based).
