Job Description : USG Assistant (F)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate USG Assistant to support radiologists and sonographers during ultrasound procedures. The ideal candidate should be skilled in patient care, preparation, and maintaining a smooth workflow while ensuring patient comfort and privacy.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the radiologist/sonologist during ultrasound (USG) examinations.
- Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort.
- Position patients correctly for various ultrasound scans.
- Prepare and maintain ultrasound equipment, examination rooms, and necessary supplies.
- Assist with maintaining patient records and scheduling appointments.
- Ensure strict infection control, hygiene, and patient safety protocols are followed.




- Help clean and disinfect ultrasound probes and equipment after each examination.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and reception staff to ensure efficient patient flow.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and medical records.
- Perform other departmental and administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements:

- Candidate referred (where legally permissible and relevant to patient comfort during certain examinations).
- 1–3 years of experience as a USG Assistant is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of ultrasound procedures and medical terminology.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle patients with empathy and professionalism.
- Willingness to work adaptable shifts.
- Basic computer knowledge.

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
