Summary of position: The Assistant Manager – Finance (Operations) will support the Finance Manager in overseeing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring timely reporting, maintaining compliance with statutory regulations, and strengthening internal controls. The role will focus on operational finance, process efficiency, reconciliations, cash flow management, and supporting audits across entities.
Job duties:
- Manage and oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
- Ensure timely vendor payments and customer collections
- Perform bank, vendor, and intercompany reconciliations
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities
- Prepare MIS reports and support variance analysis
- Monitor cash flow and coordinate with banking partners
- Assist in budget preparation and tracking
- Maintain and strengthen internal financial controls
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency
- Supervise and guide junior finance team members
- Support finance manager in adhoc support requests.
- Skills Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Hands-on experience in AP/AR management and reconciliations
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
- Ability to manage deadlines and work under pressure
- Good work experience in Xero, Quick books, Zoho Books etc.

Employee requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in commerce/accounting / finance
CA Inter / CMA Inter / MBA (Finance) preferred
Skills: 4 - 6 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounting
Experience in handling operational finance functions independently
Exposure to multi-entity accounting (preferred)
Experience in working with growing organizations/startups (preferred)

High accountability and an ownership-driven culture
Collaborative cross-functional coordination is required
Certifications: MBA Finance / CA Inter / CMA Inter (preferred but not mandatory)
