Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

- B.Sc Chemistry background
- 5-8 yrs of Experience in a Distillery industry.
- Technical and hands-on practical ability.
- Prior alcohol experience is imperative.
- Positive attitude, team player, and a willingness to 'go the extra mile'.
- Willingness to work floating or alternating shifts should the need arise;
- Ability to work unsupervised while maintaining safety and quality standards.
- Robust mechanical aptitude.
- Works within clearly defined standard operations procedures and or scientific methods and adheres to quality.
- Advanced critical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read, write and speak English fluently in order to communicate effectively with team members within and external to department.
- High attention to detail, especially to quality standards and compliance systems
- Basic computer operation and data entry skills

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Responsible to operate the Liquefaction Plant,



maintaining required safety, quality and other parameters.
- Responsible to Operate the Liquefaction process smoothly without any issues.
- Responsible to prepare the Product from flour - Milling along with water, Enzymes (according to dosage), and Caustic whilst maintaining the PH level and temperature pressure
- Responsible for Caustic Dosage.
- Conduct preventive maintenance of liquefaction equipment.
- Ensure all safety devices of Liquefaction Plant and log its status to ensure safety.
- Maintain log book/register of all operations parameter every 2 hours (PH, temperature, gravity, flour, flow, pressure, level taken etc.)
- Analyze Machine / equipment operation parameters so that malfunctions /faults can be detected and notify superiors to minimize breakdown
- Any other responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor.
