Designation: Maintenance Engineer / Maintenance Technician

Department: Maintenance

Key Responsibilities

- Perform scheduled Preventive Maintenance (PM) inspections as per the approved PM schedule.
- Inspect electrical and mechanical components of equipment and identify abnormalities or signs of wear.
- Carry out routine maintenance activities such as cleaning, lubrication, tightening, calibration checks (where applicable), and replacement of worn-out parts.
- Ensure all equipment is operating efficiently and safely before releasing it for use.
- Record PM activities, observations, and corrective actions in the Preventive Maintenance Logbook/Checklist.
- Immediately report equipment breakdowns or potential failures to the Maintenance Head/Engineering Manager.
- Coordinate with Production and QA departments during PM activities to minimize production downtime.
- Ensure all maintenance work complies with GMP, SOPs, safety guidelines, and company policies.
- Verify the availability of required tools, spare parts,



and maintenance materials before starting PM activities.
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment and the maintenance work area after completion of PM.
- Participate in equipment qualification, validation support, and annual maintenance activities as required.
- Assist in root cause analysis (RCA) and implementation of CAPA for recurring equipment issues.
- Ensure proper documentation and timely closure of PM records.
- Ability to read equipment manuals and maintenance schedules
- Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems
