Job Summary

The Cold Room Picker is responsible for accurately picking, checking, and preparing temperature-sensitive pharmaceutical products for dispatch while maintaining strict compliance with Valuable Distribution Practice (GDP), company procedures, and cold chain requirements. The role involves working in refrigerated environments to ensure product quality, inventory accuracy, and timely order fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities

- Pick pharmaceutical products from refrigerated storage according to customer orders.
- Verify product codes, batch numbers, expiry dates, and quantities before packing.
- Ensure all products remain within the required temperature range during handling and dispatch.
- Follow First Expiry First Out (FEFO) and stock rotation procedures.
- Pack orders securely to maintain cold chain integrity during transportation.
- Scan products using warehouse management systems or handheld barcode scanners, where applicable.
- Report damaged, expired, or non-conforming products to the supervisor immediately.
- Assist with stock replenishment, inventory counts, and cycle counts within the cold room.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards in the cold storage area.
- Comply with Good Distribution Practice (GDP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and workplace health and safety requirements.




- Wear and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE) for cold room operations.
- Support loading and dispatch activities as required while maintaining temperature control.

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or distribution experience is preferred.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or cold chain logistics is an advantage.

Physical Requirements

- Ability to work in cold storage environments (typically 2°C to 8°C, or as required).
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to company-approved weight limits throughout the shift.
- Ability to safely handle cartons, totes, and pharmaceutical products.
- Ability to wear appropriate cold room PPE for extended periods.

Working Conditions

- Work is primarily performed in refrigerated warehouse areas.
- May require shift work, weekend work, or overtime during peak periods.
- Exposure to cold temperatures throughout the workday.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 per month
