Vehicle Inspector — Inspekt AI Role Overview

Inspekt AI is transforming automotive inspections with AI-powered tools and standardized checklists.
We’re hiring Vehicle Inspectors who are detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and comfortable interacting with customers while performing professional inspections across new and used vehicles.

Location: Bengaluru (field role; travel within city)
Employment Type: Full-time (contract-to-hire/contract options possible)
Reporting To: Territory/Operations Manager

What You’ll Do

- Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections using the Inspekt AI app and SOPs (exterior, interior, tyres, brakes & suspension, engine bay, underbody, lighting, electronics).
- Verify documents (RC, insurance, NOC, PUC), chassis/VIN, odometer consistency, and service history when available.
- Use tools such as OBD-II scanner, colour meter/paint thickness gauge, tyre tread depth gauge, borescope (as required).
- Capture high-quality photos/videos and evidence per checklist standards.
- Generate clear, accurate digital reports with repair recommendations and prioritization.
- Explain findings to customers in simple terms; answer queries professionally.
- Coordinate test drives (where applicable & safe) and follow safety protocols at all times.




- Maintain and calibrate tools; ensure data integrity and on-time report delivery.
- Collaborate with franchise partners, dealers, and OEM/marketplace partners as needed.

Minimum Requirements (Must-Have)

- Education: Minimum 12th Pass (HSC). Diploma/ITI in Automobile/Mechanical is a plus.
- Language: Fluent English and local language — Hindi and/or Kannada (both preferred).
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using smartphone apps, cloud drive, chat tools; quick learner with new devices (OBD, gauges).
- Automobile Knowledge: Solid understanding of basic vehicle systems and common faults (engine, transmission, suspension, electrical, body).
- Licences: Valid two-wheeler licence (required). Four-wheeler licence preferred.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel within city; flexible to work weekends/peak hours on rotation.
- Professional Traits: Solid observation skills, integrity, time management, and customer handling.

Nice to Have (Preferred)

- 6–24 months of experience in vehicle inspection, service, body shop, PDI, or used-car evaluation.
- Familiarity with OBD diagnostics, paint thickness/colorimetry, and tyre wear assessment.
- Prior experience with field service apps/CRMs.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
