Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain embedded software using C on Linux-based platforms
- Develop and customize Yocto-based Linux distributions for STB/IPTV devices
- Work with RDK-V and GStreamer for multimedia streaming solutions
- Develop and debug Linux device drivers and kernel modules
- Collaborate with Middleware, QA, and Triage teams to resolve complex system issues
- Ensure software quality through code reviews and best engineering practices

Required Skills:

- Solid expertise in C programming and Linux system programming
- Experience with Yocto Project (BitBake, recipes, layers)
- Hands-on experience in STB/IPTV platforms and multimedia systems
- Strong knowledge of video domain technologies
- Experience in Linux device driver development (I2C, SPI, GPIO, USB, display, audio)
- Familiarity with kernel debugging tools such as gdb, ftrace, perf, and printk
- Experience with RDK-V / RDK-E architecture is an added advantage
- Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills
