Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled CNC Bending Machine Operator with hands-on experience in operating CNC Press Brake Machines equipped with Indexable Tooling Systems. The candidate should have strong knowledge of sheet metal bending processes, machine setup, tooling selection, bend sequence planning, and quality inspection to ensure accurate and defect-free production.

Key Responsibilities

Operate CNC Press Brake (Bending) Machines independently.

Set up and operate machines with Indexable Punches and Dies.

Select the correct tooling based on material type, thickness, and bend requirements.

Read and understand engineering drawings, fabrication drawings, and bend details.

Load and execute CNC bending programs accurately.

Perform machine setup, tool alignment, and calibration before production.

Ensure correct bend angles, dimensions, and tolerances as per drawings.

Minimize setup time and optimize production efficiency.





Inspect finished components using measuring instruments such as Vernier Calipers, Angle Gauges, Height Gauges, and Steel Rules.

Identify and rectify bending defects such as spring-back, over-bending, and under-bending.

Maintain machine cleanliness and carry out routine preventive maintenance.

Coordinate with the Part Process, Quality, and Production departments.

Follow production schedules and complete assigned jobs within target timelines.

Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and quality standards.

Required Skills

Hands-on experience in CNC Press Brake Machine operation.

Good knowledge of Indexable Tooling Systems.

Understanding of sheet metal bending calculations, bend allowance, and bend deduction.

Ability to read engineering and fabrication drawings.

Knowledge of machine setup, tool changing, and program execution.

Familiarity with stainless steel sheet metal fabrication.

Ability to use measuring instruments accurately.

Basic troubleshooting knowledge for CNC bending machines.

Qualification

ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Fabrication, Fitter, Turner, or equivalent.

Experience

2 to 8 years of experience operating CNC Press Brake Machines.

Experience in stainless steel sheet metal fabrication and commercial kitchen equipment manufacturing will be preferred.
