Job description:

Job Title: Chartered Accountant Uganda, Africa

Location: Uganda, Africa

Key Responsibilities:

- Drafting accurate balance sheets, income statements, and annual reports in line with regulatory accounting standards.
- Managing cash flows, setting department budgets, and predicting financial trends. Analysing financial data to optimize working capital and corporate investments.
- Independently inspecting financial records to certify their accuracy and legal validity.
- Evaluating internal risk management controls, operational processes, and accounting systems.
- Investigating irregularities, financial misconduct, and fraud within an organization.
- Preparing and submitting statutory tax returns (e.g., Corporate Tax, GST/VAT, Income Tax).

Required Profile:

- B. Com / M. Com / Finance Graduate
- 5+ years as a CA in a Manufacturing Industry
- Proficiency in Tally and MS Excel
- Strong knowledge of inventory accounting, costing, taxation, and financial reporting.




- · Person with East Africa Knowledge (preferred Uganda experience).

Normal terms:

- Local food allowance will be 400,000Ugx per month - paid monthly.
- Accommodation will be provided by the company.
- Return ticket to India (Delhi or Mumbai) with 1month paid leave after completion of 2 years
- Alcohol prohibited in company premises.
- Medical expenses will be paid by the company related to accidents or weather
- related diseases.
- Food served in the company canteen / premises will be vegetarian only.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
