Sr QE Automation

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks using Selenium, Java, Cucumber BDD and Cypress
- Build and execute API automation tests using Rest Assured
- Perform data validation, SQL-based testing, and data pipeline quality checks
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing
- Conduct various test types — unit, integration, API, smoke, system, and performance testing
- Manage test data, test planning, and test execution across complex data and cloud environments
- Work with Oracle, SQL Server, and ETL tools
- Leverage AI tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude) to improve testing efficiency
- Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and product owners in an agile team

Skills and Experience Required

- 7+ years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer
- Strong proficiency in Selenium, Cucumber BDD, Cypress, and Java
- Experience with API automation using Rest Assured. Strong API testing experience using Postman, including scripting and collection automation.




- Proficient in SQL queries and data validation across relational databases
- Experience with Azure and/or AWS ecosystems
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and in-sprint test automation
- Working knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, and data warehouse architectures

- Proven ability to own QA deliverables across the full project lifecycle, from inception and design review through validation and release.
- Strong experience in both test automation and hands-on manual QA

- Exposure to AI-assisted testing tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude) is a plus
- Experience working in agile delivery teams
- Ability to lead, mentor, and manage offshore QA engineers.
- Solid problem-solving, analytical, debugging, documentation, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to provide regular project and quality updates to management in a clear
- and structured manner.
