Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and deliver lectures, practical sessions on cinematography topics to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Develop and update course syllabi, instructional materials, and assessment methods to ensure effective learning outcomes.
- Provide guidance, feedback, and mentorship to students on cinematographic techniques, visual storytelling, camera operations, lighting, and other related subjects.
- Facilitate discussions and engage students in critical analysis of films, cinematographic theories, and industry trends.
- Conducting classes in both conventional and recent emerging Digital/ Electronic Media, as applicable in syllabus.
- Coordinate and conduct examination(s) and do departmental / internal assessment / evaluation including assessment / evaluation of coordinated exercises / projects.




- Evaluate answer sheets of entrance examinations conducted by the College and perform the duties with regard to the admission process.
- To assist in strengthening knowledge resource of the department as well as Institute by way of suggesting new textual and audio-visual study / reference material
- To supervise academic practical / workshop / exercises / projects of the students and provide theoretical and practical knowledge.
- Lead departmental meetings, curriculum development, and academic program reviews.
- Lead selection and evaluation of cinematography - related courses, textbooks, and learning resources.
- Provide academic advisement and guidance to students
- Serve on departmental or university committees and contribute to the overall academic and administrative responsibilities.
