Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

- Manage and mentor a team of Power BI developers and Snowflake data engineers, ensuring high-quality deliverables and qualified growth
- Partner with internal IT business application managers who serve as IT partners to functions such as Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, R&D;, and Finance to understand data and analytics needs
- Ensure uptime, reliability, and smooth performance of Snowflake (data platform) and Power BI (analytics/reporting) environments
- Drive an Analytics Center of Excellence (CoE) for the IT function — continuously scout, evaluate, and onboard better solutions and vendors to improve the company's analytics landscape
- Define the enterprise data architecture framework, including security, reference data, metadata, and master data standards
- Define and implement a roadmap for Data Lifecycle Management and Self-Service Analytics across the organization
- Run the Master Data Management (MDM)



CoE across the organization — ensure master data integrity and quality across all systems
- Identify data sources (internal and external) and develop a systematic plan for data management, including API frameworks for data retrieval
- Conduct continuous audits of the data management system covering performance, cost usage, and security — report any breaches or loopholes immediately to stakeholders
- Own cost management of data hosting vis-à-vis the technology stack, mapped with the lifecycle of data
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors for smooth functioning of the enterprise data ecosystem
- Provide training and knowledge-sharing sessions to team members on best practices, tools, and emerging trends
