Accounts Manager – Job Description (Finance & Accounts)Role Purpose

The Accounts Manager is responsible for overseeing the company's financial accounting operations, ensuring statutory compliance, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting management with timely financial reporting and controls. The role ensures compliance with Indian accounting standards, taxation laws, and internal financial policies.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting operations and general ledger.
- Ensure timely completion of monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing.
- Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable and banking transactions.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital and fund utilization.
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, ROC and other statutory requirements.
- Coordinate internal, statutory and tax audits.
- Review journal entries, reconciliations and financial statements for accuracy.
- Prepare MIS reports, profitability reports and financial dashboards for management.
- Maintain fixed asset registers, inventory accounting and cost allocations.
- Develop and strengthen financial controls, SOPs and documentation.
- Coordinate with banks, auditors, consultants and government authorities.
- Lead and mentor the accounts team while ensuring timely completion of assigned work.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

- B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CMA Inter (CA/CMA preferred).
- 5–8 years of experience in Finance & Accounts, preferably in a manufacturing company.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax,



Companies Act, PF, ESI and statutory compliance.
- Experience with ERP systems, Tally and Microsoft Excel.
- Valuable analytical, leadership and communication skills.

- High accuracy in inventory and fixed asset accounting.
- Continuous improvement in finance processes and internal controls.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
