Key Responsibilities

● Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery challans.

● Ensure proper storage of medical consumables, pharmaceuticals (where applicable), surgical items, linen, and general supplies according to hospital standards.

● Issue materials to various departments based on approved requisitions.

● Maintain stock registers and update inventory records in the Hospital Information System (HIS) or ERP system.

● Monitor stock levels and prepare timely purchase requisitions to prevent stock shortages.

● Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies with system records.

● Monitor expiry dates, batch numbers, and storage conditions of inventory.

● Ensure First Expiry First Out (FEFO) and First In First Out (FIFO) practices are followed where applicable.





● Coordinate with the Purchase Department and vendors regarding pending deliveries and stock availability.

● Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety within the store area.

● Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and consumption reports.

● Ensure compliance with hospital policies, quality standards, NABH guidelines, and audit requirements.

● Assist during internal and external audits by providing inventory records and supporting documentation.

● Perform any other duties assigned by the reporting manager.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
