Position Title: Production Executive
Location: Erode

Responsibilities

- Production Executive: Manage daily production operations, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, oversee staff, and liaise with other departments.
- Production Staff: Execute production tasks as directed, adhere to safety and quality protocols, and report issues to the Production Executive.

Definitions

- Modified Starch: Starch that has been chemically, physically, or enzymatically altered to enhance its properties for specific applications.
- Quality Control (QC): Procedures to ensure the modified starch meets defined quality and performance specifications.

Procedure

Pre-Production Planning

- Review Production Schedule: Analyze the daily and weekly production schedules to ensure resource and material availability.
- Equipment Check: Inspect and confirm that all production equipment is operational and properly calibrated. Report any maintenance issues.
- Raw Material Verification: Ensure that all raw materials (e.g., starch sources, chemical additives) meet quality standards and are available in required quantities.

Production Process

- Start-Up Procedures:
- Execute the start-up checklist for each production line, including safety checks and equipment calibration.
- Ensure all systems are functioning correctly before initiating production.
- Process Monitoring:
- Supervise the production process to ensure adherence to process parameters and quality specifications.
- Make real-time adjustments as necessary to maintain process efficiency and product quality.
- Troubleshooting:




- Address any operational issues or deviations from standard procedures promptly.
- Document issues, corrective actions taken, and any impact on production.

Quality Control

- Quality Inspections: Perform routine inspections and testing of modified starch at various stages of production to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
- Documentation: Record quality control data and results. Implement corrective actions if quality deviations are detected.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all production activities and products comply with industry regulations and company standards.

Staff Management

- Training and Development: Provide training to production staff on operating procedures, safety practices, and quality standards.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor staff performance, provide feedback, and implement measures to improve efficiency and adherence to procedures.
- Safety Enforcement: Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Address safety concerns promptly.

Documentation and Reporting

- Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate and detailed records of production activities, equipment maintenance, quality control results, and staff performance.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly production reports to senior management. Include information on production performance,



issues encountered, and corrective actions taken.

End-of-Shift Procedures

- Shutdown: Follow prescribed shutdown procedures for equipment and production lines. Ensure all machinery is turned off and secured.
- Handover: Provide a comprehensive handover to the incoming shift, including details of any ongoing issues, adjustments made, and special instructions.

Health and Safety

- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines specific to modified starch manufacturing.
- Ensure all personnel wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Report and document any accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions immediately.

Emergency Procedures

- Follow established emergency response protocols for accidents, equipment failures, or other critical incidents.
- Ensure all staff are trained in emergency procedures and aware of emergency exits and first aid resources.

Review and Revision

This SOP will be reviewed annually or as required to ensure its effectiveness and relevance. Any changes will be documented, reviewed, and communicated to all relevant personnel.

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
