Role Summary

The Network & ELV Technician will be responsible for installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of networking and Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems at client sites. The role requires working on corporate, industrial, commercial, educational, healthcare, and government projects.

Key ResponsibilitiesStructured Cabling

- LAN cable laying (CAT5e, CAT6, CAT6A)
- Fiber optic cable laying and termination
- Cable tray, conduit and casing installation
- Cable labeling and documentation
- Cable testing and certification
- Rack installation and cable dressing

Networking

- RJ45 termination and testing
- Patch panel installation
- Switch installation and basic configuration
- Router installation
- Wi-Fi Access Point installation
- Network troubleshooting

CCTV Systems

- Camera installation
- DVR/NVR installation
- IP camera configuration
- Remote viewing setup
- System testing and maintenance

EPABX & Intercom

- EPABX installation
- Extension programming
- IP Phone setup
- Intercom installation
- Basic troubleshooting

Public Address (PA) System

- Speaker installation
- Amplifier installation
- Microphone setup
- Zone wiring
- System testing

Access Control

- Biometric device installation
- Door lock installation
- RFID reader installation




- Attendance device setup

Other ELV Systems

- Video Door Phone
- Fire Alarm System (basic installation)
- Boom Barrier
- Attendance System
- Smart Home devices (if required)

Site Work

- Read layout drawings
- Coordinate with electricians and civil teams
- Maintain installation quality
- Submit installation reports
- Ensure safety standards are followed

Skills Required

- LAN & Fiber Cabling
- RJ45 Crimping
- Fiber Splicing (Preferred)
- Fluke/Cable Tester usage
- Rack Dressing
- CCTV Installation
- Switch & Router Installation
- Basic Networking (TCP/IP)
- EPABX Programming (Preferred)
- Basic Computer Knowledge
- MS Office / Mobile Reporting

Education

- ITI (Electrician/Electronics)
- Diploma in Electronics/Electrical/Computer
- Relevant certifications are an advantage.

Experience

- Trainee: 0–1 Year
- Technician: 1–3 Years
- Senior Technician: 3+ Years

Pay: ₹8,308.83 - ₹27,219.51 per month
