Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Intern to join our team. The intern will assist the legal department in handling day-to-day legal tasks, ensuring compliance, and supporting various business functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research on relevant laws, regulations, and industry practices
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and vetting contracts, agreements, and legal documents
- Support in maintaining and organizing legal records and documentation
- Help in ensuring compliance with applicable laws and internal policies
- Assist in handling regulatory filings and correspondence
- Provide support in dispute resolution and litigation matters, if any
- Coordinate with internal teams for legal clarifications and documentation
Eligibility Criteria:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Law (LLB/LLM)
- Solid research and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Preferred Skills:
- Basic understanding of corporate, financial, and contract law
- Prior internship experience (preferred but not mandatory)
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
