Video Editor – Job Description

Job Title: Video Editor (Mid-Level)

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented mid-level video editor to produce engaging, high-quality videos for social media, marketing campaigns, YouTube, advertisements, and corporate branding. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of storytelling, motion graphics, color grading, and current video trends.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit promotional, corporate, social media, and YouTube videos.
- Create engaging reels, shorts, and long-form content.
- Add motion graphics, transitions, titles, and animations.
- Perform color correction and color grading.
- Enhance audio quality with music, sound effects, and voice synchronization.
- Collaborate with designers, content creators, and marketing teams.
- Optimize videos for different platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok).
- Maintain brand consistency across all video content.
- Meet project deadlines while maintaining high-quality output.
- Organize and manage video assets efficiently.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Experience with Adobe After Effects for motion graphics.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.




- Basic understanding of DaVinci Resolve (preferred).
- Knowledge of typography, pacing, storytelling, and composition.
- Understanding of video formats, codecs, resolutions, and export settings.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or diploma in multimedia, visual communication, film, or a related field.
- Experience in creating content for digital marketing agencies or brands.
- Portfolio showcasing editing, motion graphics, and creative storytelling.
- Basic knowledge of AI video editing tools is an advantage.
