Convert engineering drawings and CAD models into efficient machining programs while ensuring precision, productivity, and high-quality component manufacturing.nKey Responsibilities:nnCreate CNC machining programs using CAM software based on engineering drawings and CAD models.nGenerate and optimize tool paths for 3-axis and 4-axis machining operations.nImprove cycle time, productivity, and tool life through program optimization.nSelect appropriate cutting tools, inserts, and machining strategies.nPrepare setup sheets and machining instructions for machine setters and operators.nPerform program simulation and verification to avoid collisions and machining errors.nSupport trial runs and prove-out of current CNC programs on the shop floor.nModify and improve existing CNC programs for enhanced efficiency and quality.nCollaborate with Production, Tool Room,



and Quality teams to resolve machining issues.nMaintain program documentation and revision control.nAssist in fixture planning and machining process development.nnRequired Skills:nnStrong knowledge of CNC machining and CAM programming.nExperience with 3-axis and 4-axis CNC machining.nGood understanding of cutting tools, machining processes, feeds, and speeds.nAbility to read engineering drawings, GDu0026T, and CAD models.nKnowledge of machining strategies for roughing, finishing, drilling, and contour machining.nFamiliarity with VMC machines and Fanuc, Siemens, or Mitsubishi controllers.nnQualification:nnDiploma/Degree in Mechanical EngineeringnORnnnnITI with CNC Programming CertificationnnExperience:nn2-7 years in CNC CAM Programming.
