We are seeking a Principal Security Engineer to lead secure AI adoption across the enterprise while driving the use of AI to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of our Cyber Security organization.nnThis individual will act as a technical leader responsible for establishing security guardrails for enterprise AI usage, evaluating emerging AI technologies, and identifying opportunities to automate and enhance security operations through AI-driven solutions.nnThis is a hands-on engineering role focused on practical implementation, security architecture, automation, and organizational transformation.nnResponsibilitiesnnSecure Enterprise AI Adoptionnn- Define security standards and guardrails for AI technologies used across the company.n- Review and assess AI-enabled tools, platforms, and vendors.n- Partner with Engineering, Product, IT, Legal, and Compliance teams to enable safe AI adoption.n- Evaluate risks related to:n- Sensitive data exposuren- Identity and access managementn- Third-party AI servicesn- Agentic workflowsn- Prompt injectionn- Data leakagen- AI governancenn- Develop AI security guidance, reference architectures, and best practices.n- Support security reviews for AI-enabled applications and integrations.nnDrive AI Adoption Within Cyber Securitynn- Identify opportunities to automate security workflows using AI.n- Build and deploy AI-powered solutions that improve:n- Vulnerability managementn- Incident responsen- Security operationsn- Security engineeringn- Risk managementn- Compliance activitiesnn- Develop prototypes, copilots, and automation tools that reduce manual effort and increase team effectiveness.n- Integrate AI capabilities into existing security platforms and workflows.nnAI Threat Modeling u0026 Security Researchnn- Develop threat models for AI systems, including LLMs, RAG applications, AI agents,
and autonomous workflows.n- Research emerging AI attack techniques and assess applicability to the enterprise environment.n- Evaluate risks associated with:n- Model poisoningn- Training data integrityn- Supply chain attacks on AI componentsn- Jailbreaks and adversarial promptingn- Agent privilege escalationn- Retrieval poisoningn- Shadow AI usagenn- Maintain awareness of evolving AI security standards and industry best practices.nnRequired Qualificationsnn- 8+ years of experience in security engineering, security architecture, or cybersecurity.n- Strong experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP).n- Experience designing security controls for SaaS and enterprise environments.n- Hands-on software development and automation skills (Python preferred).n- Experience integrating APIs and building workflow automation.n- Familiarity with contemporary AI platforms and enterprise AI tools.n- Robust understanding of:n- Identity and Access Managementn- Application Securityn- Security Architecturen- Data Protectionn- Security Automationnn- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.nnPreferred Experiencenn- Experience implementing enterprise AI governance programs.n- Experience with Microsoft Copilot, OpenAI Enterprise, Claude Enterprise, or similar platforms.n- Experience n- Experience building AI-assisted workflows or internal AI tools.n- Familiarity with:n- RAG architecturesn- AI agentsn- Vector databasesn- LangChain or similar frameworksnn- Security certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or cloud security certifications.nnSuccess Looks LikennWithin the first year, this person will:nn- Establish a practical AI security framework for the organization.n- Enable safe adoption of AI technologies across the enterprise.n- Deliver measurable automation and efficiency gains within the Cyber Security team.n- Reduce manual operational effort through AI-assisted workflows.n- Become the trusted advisor for both AI security and AI-driven security transformation. .
