Designation - Operations Head – Test Series

Job Specification

Managing the day-to-day operations of the Test Series Department. Ensuring smooth coordination between internal teams such as Translation, DTP, Technical Operations, Marketing, Business Development, etc. Tracking timelines, streamlining workflows, maintaining quality delivery standards, and ensuring timely execution of all Test Series related deliverables.

Job Purpose:

To ensure efficient execution of Test Series operations by managing coordination, workflow, timelines, team alignment, and smooth delivery of Prelims/Mains test series content (online/offline).

Primary Job Responsibilities:

- Managing day-to-day operations of the Test Series Department.

- Coordinating with Content Team, Translation Team, DTP Team, Tech Team, Marketing and Business Development for timely execution.

- Ensuring timely movement of papers from content creation to review, translation, DTP, upload and publishing.

- Maintaining and tracking test series schedules, release calendars, and pending tasks.

- Ensuring quality checks at every operational stage (formatting, uploading, printing, and final release).

- Managing internal communication between teams for faster resolution of bottlenecks.

- Ensuring smooth evaluation workflow for Mains test series (copy distribution, evaluation assignment, review, publishing feedback).

- Preparing weekly/monthly operational progress reports.





- Supporting management in planning current test series launches and expansion initiatives.

Specific Knowledge & Skills:

- Strong understanding of the structure and workflow of Test Series (Prelims & Mains).

- Robust coordination and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.

- Strong organizational skills and problem-solving approach.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and documentation tools.

- Ability to manage cross-functional teams and ensure smooth collaboration.

- Understanding of UPSC/State PCS test series ecosystem preferred.

Major KRA :

- Ensuring timely release of all scheduled tests without delay.

- Maintaining workflow efficiency across teams and ensuring smooth handovers.

- Identifying bottlenecks in operations and implementing improvements.

- Ensuring error-free publishing and final delivery (online/offline).

- Maintaining proper coordination with evaluation and review teams for timely evaluation output.

- Ensuring proper documentation of schedules, timelines, and status tracking.

- Supporting test series expansion and ensuring smooth operational execution of new initiatives.

Qualification and Experience :

Minimum Qualification - Graduation in any discipline.

Preferred/Additional Qualification :

- MBA/PG Diploma in Operations/Management preferred.

- Experience in EdTech/Publishing/Test Series operations preferred.

Minimum Experience

- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in operations/project coordination.
