Job Description: A Senior Chartered Accountant (Sr. CA) in a steel manufacturing environment is a critical leadership role responsible for the entire financial spectrum, ranging from cost accounting of raw materials to statutory compliance, taxation, and financial reporting. This role requires expertise in navigating complex regulatory environments, managing high-volume transactions, and driving cost control initiatives to ensure profitability in the volatile steel market. Key Responsibilities

- Financial Reporting & Control: Oversee the preparation of financial statements, ensure strong internal controls, and manage overall financial reporting.
- Cost Management & Auditing: Lead budgeting, forecasting, and detailed cost control initiatives, specifically focusing on manufacturing overheads, raw material procurement (iron ore, coal), and energy consumption.
- Taxation Compliance: Manage GST, TDS/TCS, income tax, and all statutory compliance regulations specific to the manufacturing sector.
- Banking & Treasury: Manage banking relationships, handle working capital requirements, and optimize cash flow for operational efficiency.
- Regulatory Liaison: Handle audits, risk assessments,



and liaise with external auditors and government authorities.
- Strategic Decision Support: Collaborate with production, logistics, and supply chain departments to provide data-driven insights to improve profitability. Requirements

- Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) or Equivalent (CMA/MBA Finance).
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in finance, accounting, and taxation, with a robust preference for experience within the manufacturing or steel industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP or Tally, along with strong MS Office skills.
- Leadership Skills: Experience leading a finance team and managing stakeholder relationships. Key Focus Areas for Steel Sector

- Inventory Valuation: Managing complex inventory valuation for raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
