Job Description – PGT Chemistry Teacher

Position: PGT Chemistry
Qualification:

- M.Sc. in Chemistry

- B.Ed. mandatory

Experience:

- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience at senior secondary level (Class 11 & 12)

Responsibilities:

- Teach Chemistry to Classes 11 & 12 as per CBSE/ICSE curriculum

- Prepare lesson plans, practical files, assignments & assessments

- Conduct laboratory sessions and ensure safety standards

- Track student progress and take remedial sessions

- Prepare students for board exams

- Maintain classroom discipline and create an engaging learning workplace

- Participate in school meetings, PTMs, academic planning & events

- Update subject knowledge and teaching methods regularly

Skills Required:

- Strong subject knowledge in Organic, Inorganic & Physical Chemistry

- Good communication and classroom management

- Ability to explain complex concepts clearly

- Comfortable conducting lab experiments

- Knowledge of digital teaching tools (preferred)
