Job Description:

Position: Sr. Executive/Asst. Manager - Quality

Location: Silvassa

Experience: 7 - 8 Years

Industry: Packaging

Responsibilities:

- Ensure product quality as per customer, ISO, BIS, and company quality standards.
- Handle incoming, in-process, and final product inspections.
- Maintain and implement Quality Management System (QMS) documentation.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, BIS, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Plan and conduct internal audits, support external, customer, and certification audits, and ensure audit compliance.
- Prepare audit reports and close audit observations through effective CAPA implementation.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and drive corrective and preventive actions to reduce quality issues.
- Handle customer complaints and coordinate timely resolution.
- Work closely with Production, Maintenance, R&D;, Purchase, Supply Chain, and Sales for cross-functional quality improvement.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce rejection, rework, and customer complaints.




- Monitor quality KPIs and prepare MIS and management reports.
- Ensure calibration and maintenance of measuring and testing instruments.
- Train employees on quality standards, SOPs, ISO requirements, and quality awareness.
- Supervise the quality team and ensure smooth day-to-day quality operations.
- Support new product development, validation, and process improvement activities.
