Job Description – Service Engineer (Construction Equipment)

Position Title: Service Engineer cum Design Engineer
Department: Design and service support
Location: Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Vellore, Coimbatore, Trichy and Kanchipuram
Reports to: Service Manager / Regional Service Head

Job Purpose:

To support Design for fabrication of Truck mounted cranes and after sales service support

Key Responsibilities:

- prepare structural diagrams for truck fabrication
- on't react with OEM for drawing preparation and aporoval
- Maintain service logs, issue job cards, and submit reports.
- Train customer operators on basic maintenance and safe usage.
- Coordinate with parts and warranty teams for timely closures.
- Escalate critical issues to the regional/national service team.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Provide feedback for product improvement and service enhancement.

Key Skills & Competencies:





- Design knowledge using Autocad, Pro E and basic design tools, understanding of hydraulic and mechanical system.
- Customer-centric approach
- Valuable documentation and reporting skills
- Basic knowledge of service tools, manuals, and diagnostics

Qualifications:

- Diploma/BE in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automobile Engineering
- 1–5 years of experience in Adesign tools like auto cad , pro E and other design tools for preparing drawing and after sales service support

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
