Job Summary

Lead end-to-end Quality Assurance for Oracle Xstore POS implementation and rollout, ensuring store-ready releases with minimal production risk across multi-country deployments and integrations.

The role will own test strategy, execution governance, environment readiness, and defect management across System, Integration, and UAT phases.

Key Responsibilities

A. QA Strategy & Governance

Define and own QA strategy, test planning, and execution governance for Xstore programs
Establish entry/exit criteria, workplace readiness, and release quality gates
Drive quality governance across cross-functional teams (Business, Dev, Integration, Deployment)

B. End-to-End Testing Ownership

Lead end-to-end validation across POS workflows , including:
Sales, returns, tenders, promotions
Store operations and backend integrations

Own testing across multiple phases:
System Testing
System Integration Testing (SIT)
User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Ensure certification of Xstore builds for QA and production readiness

C. Integration & Data Validation

Drive integration testing across upstream/downstream systems including ERP, SAP, SAP CAR, HRMS, etc.
Validate inbound/outbound data flows across Xstore, XOCS, and integration layers
Coordinate with dependent systems to ensure end-to-end data validation

D. Regression & Compatibility Testing

Own regression and backward compatibility testing across releases and regions
Plan automation for repeatable regression scenarios
Ensure minimal regression leakage during rollout phases

E. Non-Functional & Device Testing

Oversee NFR validation (performance, stability, reliability)
Lead POS hardware & peripheral testing (scanners, printers, payment devices)

F. Defect Management & RCA

Drive defect lifecycle management and prioritization
Perform root cause analysis and quality improvement actions




Ensure timely closure aligned with release timelines

G. UAT, Pilot & Rollout Support

Support and govern:
UAT cycles and business validation
Pilot store testing and rollout readiness
Enable store-ready deployment with minimal disruption

H. Release & Environment Readiness

Validate:
Builds, configurations, and upgrades
Security and platform changes
Ensure production readiness and stable store operations

Strong expertise in:
Oracle Retail Xstore POS testing
POS Functional & Integration Testing
Regression & Backward Compatibility testing
Automation using XUnit and Playwright

Testing Capabilities

Agile/Sprint-based QA delivery

Domain Experience

Retail POS systems (mandatory)
Multi-country POS rollout experience (preferred)

Experience validating:
Store operations workflows
Payments, promotions, and omnichannel flows

Experience Requirements

10+ years in QA with strong POS domain exposure
Proven experience leading end-to-end QA for Oracle Xstore implementations / upgrades
Experience in large-scale enterprise retail transformations

Successful completion of SIT/UAT with high quality acceptance rates
Stable store operations during pilot and hypercare
Minimal regression defects across releases
