POSITION DETAILS

JOB PURPOSE

· Follow all the SOP’s and Processes set out by Quality Assurance and Quality Control Department and ensure all quality standard are achieved with accuracy and time.

· Project specific SOP’s should be met and followed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS & Duties

· Reporting to Manager – QC of site progress.

· Material testing and checking.

· Documentation, record keeping

· Site inspection, pre concrete and post concrete site inspection.

· Concrete production from RMC plant.

· Maintain quality lab, instruments and its calibration.

· Knowledge of calculating BBS and reading RCC and architectural drawings and making changes on site after discussing with the clients.

· Responsible and focused all the activities in the site to ensure quality and workmanship.

· Planning, coordination and executing of technical aspects of construction project.

· Quality control work of the project and material quality, resulting in cost saving on project

· Capable enough to tackle unexpected errors and solving technical issues raised at the site.

· Witness of Calibration of Concrete Batching Plant and other Lab equipment & instruments as per QAP.





· Proper guidance to the labour's and supervisor about the quality, safety, materials, time and methods of work on the specific site.

· Knowledge of AutoCAD , center line plan and cube testing QA/QC

· Preparing daily progress reports to be submitted to the project manager and clients representatives, as necessary.

· Preparing Quality assurance/Quality control documents &monitoring; the implementation of the same.

· Conducting Concrete trial Mix for grades like (M-45, M-35, and M-30&M-20;) and getting approval from PMC.

· Maintaining quality of concrete like slump and casting cubes at site, as per QAP and IS specifications.

· Issuing Internal NCR’s for Site team on record of abortive works and follow-up for Corrective action and preventive action (CAR, PAR) for immediate closure.

· Calibrating all Quality related apparatus such as CTM, Concrete Cube moulds, RMC etc.

· Witnessing Third party testing of sampled rebar and Couplers.

· Sampling of reinforcement steel, and other materials for third party testing depending on ITP.

· Preparing Quality related documents such as Training calendars, NCR Summary, CSR summary, Audit calendars, PQR, MQR, MRM, MPR, Audit abstracts, Standard Deviation of Concrete, as per QMS according to PQMP.





· Conducting various training program for the foreman, site engineer in order to provide the knowledge of the work activity.

QUALIFICATIONS

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

5 to 7 years with BE Civil

6 t0 8 years with diploma in civil engineering

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

7 years with BE Civil with Mumbai university or equivalent

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

BE Civil from recognized university or Diploma in civil Engineering Post-Graduation or Project management will be an added advantage.

Age Criteria

25 to 33 years

PREFERRED EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

· Strong knowledge of concrete IS Codes

· Excellent negotiations, communication, and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to analyse complex contractual issues and develop practical solutions.

· Proficiency in Aluminum Formwork is must

REQUIRED
SKILLS

Positive written & Spoken English Communication, Relevant skills in high-rise construction/infrastructure projects is must

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Average Physique with good health conditions. Should be presentable and well groomed.
