Job Description – Accountant

Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations
- Handle accounts payable and receivable processes
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Maintain accurate records of invoices, payments, and expenses
- Monitor GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance requirements
- Coordinate with auditors for internal and external audits
- Process employee reimbursements and vendor payments
- Maintain inventory and stock-related accounting records for pharmaceutical products
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and pharmaceutical industry regulations
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow
- Support payroll processing and salary-related accounting
- Maintain confidentiality of financial and company data
- Coordinate with procurement, sales,
and warehouse teams for financial documentation
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance
- 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance
- Proficiency in Tally, ERP software, and MS Excel
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and coordination skills
Preferred Qualities
- Understanding of inventory and batch-wise accounting
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical compliance and documentation practices
- Team-oriented and ethical qualified approach
